Taking the first step toward managing anxiety can feel overwhelming. At ReACH Psychiatry, we believe the path to feeling better should be clear, compassionate, and built on trust. This guide is designed to remove the guesswork, providing transparent answers to the questions we hear most often from new patients.
We see your first visit as a conversation, where you can feel comfortable and understood without any pressure or judgment. It's a chance for us to understand your story and for you to understand how we can help. Our goal is to make the process as comfortable as possible. We’ve found that the most successful first visits are a result of a shared, focused conversation between you and your clinician.
Here’s a simple walkthrough of what to expect during your first visit. You will meet with both a psychologist and a psychiatrist to ensure a complete understanding of your needs. You will begin with a history intake to discuss your current symptoms and health background. This is a chance for you to share your story without feeling rushed. This is followed by a brief symptom assessment to help us get a clearer picture of your specific needs. This isn't a pass-or-fail test; it's a tool that provides valuable insights into your experience. The psychiatric consultation is where we discuss the most appropriate treatment path, which could include therapy, medication, or a combination. Together, you and the psychiatrist will create a personalised treatment plan so you know what to expect moving forward. We want you to know that your information is kept strictly confidential and protected by law. We believe that to get the most out of your care, you should feel completely safe to share without hesitation.
Patient Vignettes: Real Paths to Feeling Better
We believe in full transparency about fees so there are no surprises. Our fee for a 60-minute consultation is ₹3,500 for the Indian residents and ₹5000 for international patients. Our fee for a 15 minute consultation with the Psychiatrist is ₹3500 for the initial consultation and for the follow-up appointments as well. Other services will vary based on your personalised treatment plan. We serve a wide range of patients, including those with anxiety, depression, addiction, ADHD, and other mental health concerns across all ages, from children to adults. We also provide psychotherapy for couples which costs ₹6000 per session.
For your convenience, we accept a variety of payment methods, including PayPal, RazorPay, UPI, debit and credit cards, direct bank transfers and cash.
Initial intake appointments typically run for a full hour. This allows enough time to gather a comprehensive history and make a thorough assessment. Follow-up appointments with the psychologist are 60 minutes and 15 minutes with the psychiatrist, depending on the timeline of the medications prescribed. We schedule each session with a specific goal in mind and will always communicate the expected duration to you.
We offer both confidential online sessions and in-person appointments. Both are designed to provide the same high standard of care.
